    Wolf Kills Cows, Wolf Bites Human, Wolf Goes to Town, Wolf Released to Kill Again

    During the re-capture of F 924, a story circulated that a young woman working for the wolf program was severely bitten while handling her. It was not a popular story and although it spread like fire in the rural communities where wolf employees live and work, most folks simply never heard about it. The bite was certainly never investigated even though others on the team knew about it in fact, several other wolf workers made a habit out of teasing the victim about when her rabies shots would kick in.
